REBECCA BRODSKIS

Rebecca Brodskis was born in France in 1988, she lives and works in Marseille. She spent much of her childhood travelling and living between France and Morocco. She studied painting in the Ateliers of Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris and drawing at Central Saint Martins in London. Shortly after, she worked in New York as an assistant to Norwegian artist Lars Laumann. Having always been attracted to theoretical studies, she completed a master’s degree in sociology on the themes of vulnerability and social crisis before moving back to Paris.

Her work delves into the relationship between existence and materiality through the medium of painting, exploring how social forces impact the individual.
